Toni Kroos joining Real Madrid was only a matter of time. Yesterday, Super Flo (Perez) basked in glory as he presented Real Madrid’s new number 8 to the media. 10, 000 or so Madridistas flocked to the Bernabeu to catch a glimpse of the latest addition to the Galactico family. Super Flo did indicate to Kroos that “This shirt is very demanding. Dear Toni, welcome to Real Madrid”.

The shirt is demanding, so are the insatiable Real Madrid fans. Madridistas will expect a lot from the 30 million euro rated super star. From the very first time he officially steps foot onto the hallowed turf of the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu to his very last performance, hopefully in 2019 and beyond.

Yaw Ampofo Ankrah Hit Back At ‘Cheap Journalists’ For Their ‘Evil’ Accusations

Yaw Ampofo Ankrah launched a vitriolic attack on some ‘cheap journalists’ for their incessant fabrication of lies on him.

The SuperSport presenter who is also the brother of the immediate past Sport minister Evis Afriyie Ankrah, has been receiving some flak from the media for allegedly carrying supporters to Brazil. The media are also accusing the former minister of sports for being nepotistic.

Ampofo Ankrah just couldn’t take the criticism any longer so decided to come air  to dispel all the allegations against him.  Speaking to his former employers Joy Fm, the renowned sport journalist said:

“Firstly, let it be clear that my trip to Brazil was sponsored 100% by my employers Supersport. I did not go on GFA ticket, a sponsor’s ticket neither was I sent there by the government. In fact, I have never been sponsored by any government to any World Cup Tournament; Germany 2006 (Metro tv), South Africa 2010 (Etv), AFCON 2013 (Oxigen) and Brazil 2014 (Supersport)”.

He added,  ‘’I am very proud of the fact that I have never been sponsored by any government to any world cup tournament and the records are there to prove it. I challenge those cowards making these evil allegations to come forward and declare their identities’’

‘’Is it not strange that nobody can boldly come forward and put these allegations to my face? They have no balls so they chose to use cheap journalists to do their dirty work’’, he quizzed.

Speaking in a voice charged with emotion and anger, Mr Ampofo Ankrah continued,   ‘’my silence may have been misconstrued for acceptance of these lies. But it is rather because I cannot waste precious time in responding to such wild allegations since I am competing with international brands and networks’’

Well I really empathize with Yaw. It is high time Ghanaians stop criticizing and hating people just because they are related to people in high office. We must judge people based on their competence and not family relations.

Ampofo Ankrah is a seasoned sport journalist who has been in the game since the early noughties. He is not successful because of his brother or the NDC government. Everything is due to sheer hard work and skill.

Kwaw Kese’s Marriage Crashes!

Kwaw Kese  is the latest Ghanaian celebrity  to have his marriage crumble.

The Swedru-born hip-life artist took to Twitter to announce the unfortunate breakdown of his marriage to his wife of six years.  His wife used to work at the American Embassy. The couple have two children.

Well, it is not surprising to see Kwaw’s marriage end in divorce, because genuinely speaking I even forgot he was married. His married to that American lady was weirdly kept low profile. The so called couple were hardly seen together in public and that begs question whether their marriage was authentic.
